John Foster III, 59, of Bristol, died on Friday, May 20. He was the son of John Howard Foster Jr. and Patricia May Foster.
He was born in Bennington, Vt. on June 1, 1957. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from June 16, 1975 to Nov. 26, 1979 and received an honorable discharge. He worked with Cigna, Inc.
He loved his kitty, Jinx, and a “furever” home was found, so Jinx can continue to be cared for in a loving home.
He is survived by his brother, Stacey Foster of Bennington, Vt.; his former wife, Debbie Foster of Bristol; along with a number of friends and acquaintances.
He was predeceased by his parents.
A celebration of his life is scheduled for Saturday, June 11, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the Bristol Recovery Club, 67 West St., Bristol. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
