nn (Patterson) Hartung, 87, of Southington passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at her home. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Hartung Sr.
Born January 23, 1929 in Pittsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul James Smith and Frances Patterson Smith.
Ann was a member of the American Legion Women’s Aux., St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and the Spring Lake Village Homeowners Assoc. She loved to paint, sew and needle work.
She is survived by her children, Craig E. Hartung of VA, Mark E. Hartung of Torrington, Laura Ann Turner of Bantam, Roxanne Hartung of Indiana, Karen Evans of Torrington, Pamela Walonoski of Winchester and Leslie Martin of Southington; two sisters, Jane Chapman of FL and Jacqueline Lewis of NC; 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Robert E. Hartung Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 145 Main St., Southington. There are no calling hours. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington is assisting the family with arrangements.
