Richard E. Harwood, 84, died Monday, August 22, 2016 at home. He was marrried to Janet (Ohliger) for 59 years.
The youngest of 10 children of George and Matilda (Fischer) Harwood, he was born and lived in Southington all of his life.
Richard served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954, and retired as plant manager of Cuno Engineering in Meriden after working over 30 years.
Besides his wife he leaves sons, Thomas (Elizabeth) , Kenneth, Keith and Todd (Tammy); grandchildren, Brian (Maureen), Kevin (Holly) and Brianna; and 4 great grandchildren.
