Shirley A. (Mcintyre) Fallis, 89 of Southington, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2016 at the Newington Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Joseph Fallis.
Born Feb. 9, 1927 in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Mckeon) Mcintyre.
Shirley was employed by Stanley Works until her retirement. She was an avid Nascar Fan, a member of the Southington Apple Valley Quilters, the Southington Calendar House, VFW Auxiliary New Britain, Post 511 and the DAV Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen Wynkoop and husband Edgar of Plainville and Barbara Germain and husband John of Manchester; three grandchildren, Moriah, EJ and Alex Wynkoop. She was predeceased by a sister, Marie Vaccario.
The funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St., Southington for a Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
