Hazel E. Heap, 82, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017. She was the wife of the late Lewis Heap, M.D. She is survived by her daughter, Francesca Heap and her son-in-law, Alan Conklin, of Plainville; daughter, Rosemary; and her cherished granddaughter, Sarah Heap-Crosby, of Bristol. She also leaves her nephews, Toby and Ivan, and her beloved cat, Keebler. She was predeceased by her daughter, Miranda Elizabeth Heap, and her brother, Howard.
Mrs. Heap was born in Enfield, England, daughter of the late Jack and Eva. She received a Master’s in Science from Quinnipiac University and had retired from her work as a medical technologist at the practice now known as CT Kidney and Hypertension Specialists.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 at 12:30 pm at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St.Southington. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
