Thomas A. Dzilenski, 58, of Cheshire passed away peacefully on April 1, 2016 at the West Haven Veterans Hospital.
He was a 1976 graduate of Southington High School. Tom served in the United States Air Force from 1976-1980 and was very proud to have done this for his country. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 28 years, Jeannie in June of 2015. Tom had a long career as a custom cabinetry maker and had a remarkable talent in designing and crafting custom pieces. In addition, he had a passion for old movies, history documentaries, and music.
Tom leaves behind his parents, Richard and Jean Dzilenski, as well as his eight siblings, Richard and Carole Dzilenski, Lee and Paul Galuska, Laura and Dennis Dolce, William and Erin Dzilenski, Daniel and Celina Dzilenski, Lynne and Timothy O’Keefe, Elizabeth and Eric Panke and Amy and Kyle Baker. His aunts, Helen and Barbara, as well as his many awesome nieces and nephews will miss him.
We know Tommy is at peace and believe that one day we all will reunite.
There will be a 10:30 private military burial on Saturday April 9, 2016 at the Veterans Cemetery in Middletown.
