Ann Testa, 78, of Bristol, left this Earth to be with her Heavenly Father on April 28, 2016 at the Ingraham Manor in Bristol.
She was born June 3, 1937 in Island Pond, VT, the daughter of the late Gerard and Mary (O’Leary) Castonguay. She had retired from Waldbaums Food Mart and also worked for the Bristol Housing Authority.
She is survived by her children, Andrea Collins of Springfield, MA, Rocco Testa of Bristol, Paula Steele of Plantsville, David Testa and his wife Marsha of Bristol, Jay Testa of Bristol, Angel Glover and her husband Roland of Manchester, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, Gary Castonguay, 2 sisters, Gail Miller of Westbrook and Gay Ritter of Rocky Hill and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Testa. She also leaves her faithful, four- legged companion, “Bianca.” She was a devoted member of Apple Valley Worship Center in Southington. She served faithfully as a church leader and considered the church members her second family.
A Celebration Service will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 4 p.m. at Apple Valley Worship Center with Pastor Ken Gray officiating. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. DellaVecchia Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
