Lorraine was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, to the late Arthur Kirouac and Bertha (Gagne) Kirouac, and lived there for many years, but for over 45 years had called Southington, Connecticut her home.

Family and friends were her life, and she had enough love in her heart for everyone. For our family, she was our hub, truly the center focus…she was Nana. She was a homemaker who was devoted to her children and nurtured their interests and needs, and always relished the time spent with her family.

The loss of her parents was devastating for her, and their passing left a very large hole in her spirit. Through the many trials and tribulations of life, she was able to rise above and combat her demons. She was proud of her sobriety and was able to keep this gift even in her passing.

Mom, watching you rebound from the despair and the pain that you had been in for so long was the greatest gift that you have ever given to me.
