Almeda (Ellie) M. Lariviere, 76, of Southington and formerly of North Port, FL, passed away on Saturday May 14, 2016 at The Alzheimer’s Resource Center in Plantsville, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Maurice L. Lariviere.
She was born on November 22, 1939 in Maine, and was the daughter of the late Leroy and Edith Brackett. Ellie was a parishioner of Mary Our Queen Church when she resided is Southington. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Ellie also enjoyed watching cooking shows and listening to her husband play music.
She is survived by her four daughters Dee Miclette of Concord, NC, Julie Wallace and Cathy Blanchette both of Southington and Lilian Byrne of Broad Brook, CT., 13 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 1 step grand-son, along with several nieces and nephews. Almeda was predeceased by her sisters Ruth and Pauline and brothers Larry and Bernard.
Service and Burial will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours. The DellaVecchia Funeral 211 N. Main St Southington is assisting the family.
