Luella (McGowan) Jasenski, 83, of Southington passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. She was the loving wife of Walter Jasenski for the past 56 years.
Born August 21, 1933 in Scotland, she was the daughter of the late William and May (Goti) McGowan, immigrating to Connecticut in 1957. She was retired from TD Bank in Southington.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her four children, daughter Pam Vachon and her husband Dennis of Southington, son Craig Jasenski and wife Heather Mihocko of Averill Park, NY, son Steven Jasenski of Selkirk, NY and daughter Marie Cichocki and her husband Dave of Barkhamsted, CT. Luella is also survived by her 9 grandchildren Steven, Jason, Casey, Jolene, Allison, Kate, Jessica, Josh and Connor as well as her brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister Marlene Bird of Springfield, OR. She was predeceased by a brother William McGowan of Phoenix, AZ.
Luella was most happy spending time with her nine grandchildren. She most loved her time with them at the beach and family holidays. She will be greatly missed by all.
Her funeral will be held on Monday November 14 at 9:45 am from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St. Plantsville, for a mass at 10:30 am. Burial will be at South End Cemetery in Southington. Calling hours will be Sunday from 3-6 at the funeral home.
