Thaddee “Ted” Lebel, 78, of Southington, passed away on November 11, 2016 at home with his family at his side. He was the loving husband of Odette (Daigle) Lebel for 54years.
Ted was born in St Francis, ME, on June 27, 1938 son of the late Aurele and Suzanne (Ouellette) Lebel.
Prior to his retirement, Ted worked as a Machinist for Widger Manufacturing. He served in the US Army from 1961-1963. He was an active member of Mary Our Queen Church serving as an usher. He was an avid bowler, golfer, and card player.
He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play numerous sports.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children David Lebel and wife Alison, Debbie Nichols and husband Kurt, Donna Lebel and wife Amy Gagnon all of Southington, grandchildren Amanda Therrien and husband Jordan, Keith Lebel, Benjamin Nichols and wife Karol, and Kasey Lebel, sisters Marianne Ketch of Caribou, ME, Corrine Lebel of Caribou, ME, Lucia Jandreau of Vero Beach, FL, and Verona Jandreau and husband Joel of Caribou, ME, along with several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral will be Wednesday at 9:45 am from at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St., Southington to Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St. Plantsville for a 10:30 Mass. Burial with Military Honors will follow in South End Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-8 pm.
