Rose (DePinto) Kelly, 97, of Meriden and Southington, passed away suddenly on November 11, at Midstate Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Francis L. Kelly.
Rose was born in New Britain on March 16, 1919 and was the daughter of the late John and Pasqualina ( Monolfi) DePinto. She was a parishioner of Mary Our Queen Church.
Rose is survived by her three daughters Kathleen Walasewicz of Southington, Lorraine Williams and her husband David of West Hartland and Francine O’Brien and her husband Robert of Meriden, of whom she lived with for the past several years. Her much loved eight grandchildren and her thirteen great-grandchildren who will miss their “nonnie”.
She is also survived by her sisters Mary Sessions of Plainville and Betty Zita of New Britain along with numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by seven brothers and six sisters along with her loving son in law Tom Walasewicz.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016 at 11 am at Mary Our Queen Church 248 Savage St in Plantsville. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30 until 10:30am at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. in Southington. Burial will be in St Thomas Cemetery.
