SOUTHINGTON- Claire (Lamontagne) Duquette, 85, devoted wife for over 64 years of the late Robert “Mr. Duke” Duquette who passed in January of this year, passed away peacefully on Friday at her home in Southington.
Born in Waterbury on May 18, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Appollinaire “Paul” and Roseanna (Bisaillon) Lamontagne. She had an over 30 year career in banking beginning with Colonial Bank and retiring from Bank Boston. She resided in Waterbury for most of her life before moving to Southington three years ago. One of her favorite past times was traveling with her husband.
Claire is survived by two sons, Gary Duquette of Watertown, Mark Duquette of Sewickley, PA, two daughters Lisa and her husband Mark Graziano of Southington, Michelle and her husband Thomas Pannullo of Goshen. She was a very loving and devoted grandmother to David, Leah, Cristina, Danielle and Christopher and recently became a great grandmother to Quinn Evangeline. She also leaves brothers, Roger Lamontagne and his wife Dolores of Southington, Raymond Lamontagne and his wife Judy of Waterbury. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter-in-law Linda Duquette, a brother and his wife Marcel and Marcella Lamontagne.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at St. Dominic Church 1050 Flanders Rd in Southington. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
