Felice (Zompanti) Cassella, 93, of Southington, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016. She was the wife of the late Joseph Edward Cassella.
She was born in Ceprano, Italy, the daughter of the late Anthony and Rosa Zompanti. Felice was a graduate of New Britain High School. Before becoming a mother and dedicating her life to caring for her family and full time homemaking, she was employed by Landers, Frary & Clark in New Britain.
A loving mother, wife, grandparent, and great grandparent, she is survived by a daughter Diane and husband Paul Ohanesian of Portland, a son Joseph Cassella and wife Jennifer of Moodus, four grandchildren, Jordan Ohanesian of Washington, D.C., Erica and husband Michael Lamson of London, UK, Ryan Cassella and Nicholas Cassella both of Portland, OR, a great grandson Rory George Lamson, seven nieces and nephews, as well as her many friends at The Orchards of Southington. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Zompanti.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11am at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in New Britain. There are no calling hours.
