Mark W. Brady, 61, of Wolcott, CT passed away peacefully and surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, March 20, at St. Mary’s Vitas in Waterbury, after a long illness. He was the loving husband and best friend of Judith Brady for thirty years.
He was born on April 24, 1954 in Southington, CT, loving son of the late Robert and Patricia (O’Shea) Brady.
Mark was the owner/operator of Van Guard Restoration, LLC, where honesty and integrity were the foundations of his business. His love of God and belief in salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ showed in many ways. He gave of himself generously, giving money to many charitable organizations and giving his time touching many people’s lives. In his spare time, he was an avid reader, lover of music and his guitars, golfing in the summer and skiing in the winter.
In addition to his wife, Judith, Mark is survived by four sisters, Eileen Esposito and husband Frank of Wolcott, Evelyn Reeve and husband Timothy of Woodbury, Christine Schumacher and husband Brad of Wolcott, and Noreen Cochran and husband Randy of Prospect, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be held at 11 am on Thursday, March 24 at Della Vecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington, CT. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 10 am until the time of the service.
